The Social Media & Content Creation Program is a six-week, hands-on training designed for young women ages 16–24 who want to master the digital space. From Instagram reels to TikTok trends, from managing brand accounts to building your own, this program gives you the skills and confidence to thrive in one of today’s fastest-growing industries.
We know that many talented young women face barriers to opportunity—whether it’s leaving high school before graduation, challenges with attendance, aging out of foster care, involvement with the court system, or simply not having access to career pathways. This program was built with you in mind.

Why Join?
Mississippi has over 60,000 jobs tied to the creative economy, and opportunities in digital media are expanding every day. By the end of this course, you’ll earn a Social Media Management Certificate and the Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), plus gain access to job shadowing, internships, and potential job placement.
Who Can Apply?
This program is designed for girls and women ages 16–24 in Hinds County who are ready to build a future in digital media—especially those facing barriers to opportunity. We welcome applicants who may be:

Aging out of foster care

Adjudicated or court-involved

Experiencing homelessness or housing instability

Struggling with truancy

High school or college dropouts

Living with financial hardship or limited resources
